PRACTICE & POSITION

A practice between
image and inquiry.

DEMA’s practice approaches art as a site of observation, construction and critical reflection.

Through installation, digital composition and mixed-media processes, the work investigates how images acquire meaning: how symbols organise perception, how materials retain traces, and how personal or collective experience becomes visible.

The research dimension accompanies the artistic process without collapsing interpretation into proof. Intuition, cultural references and speculative questions are treated as starting points for inquiry, articulated through form, context and critical language.

The portfolio is organised into distinct areas. Each section offers a different point of entry into the artistic practice and its supporting research.

METHODOLOGICAL NOTE

Clarity of form.
Openness of interpretation.

The work moves between material experimentation and conceptual research. Its meanings are not presented as fixed conclusions; they emerge through the encounter between object, image, context and viewer.
